Dear Mr. Paperiello:
This is to formally propose, and request your concurrence, that the l
radiological emergency preparedness exercise for the Duane Arnold Energy Center be rescheduled from October 27, 1983, to October 26, 1983. This would allow for representatives of the Federal Regional Assistance Com-mittee to hold the exit interview with the off-site participants, and the public briefings, on the day following the exercise, and to still be able to return to their offices prior to the close of business for the week.

This change in schedule was initially proposed on behalf of this office by a representative of the Iowa Office of Disaster Services, at the a
meeting on August 11, 1983, to discuss exercise objectives, with Iowa E
Electric Light and Power Company. No objection to the proposed resched-E uling was voiced at that time, nor in subsequent contacts by this office with various parties involved.
