Uhcicas, I cite the folliuing reasons as ample evidence for my position:

1. The non-compliance of federal safety regulations can not be. con-doned.

The Boel ter reactor leaves essential safety features such as a containc.cnt dome, an c.ergency cooling system, a radio activity housing tank, a buf fer zone, and a fire sprinkler system.

Keeping in mind that not enly are UCLA students vulnerable to injury should a major mal fuction occur, but so will nearby residents in the area.

Moreover, the olympics are around the u.rrer and wi th that comes a higher security risk.

I further cite c.s..c ek's June 27, l'j33 ar ticle on the olympici calling coel ter Hall, "One obvious target tor terrorists."

The reactor's unagers and administrators have failed to take adequate security precautions by allowing unlicensed opreators with no past experience to run the reactor. A few of those unlicensed operators have included junior high school students.

This is another direct violation of N.R.C. rules and regulations.
