Dear Administrative Judges:
We are writing to correct for the record and for the benefit of the Board and parties to this proceeding a statement which was made at the August 17 hearing which has subsequently been determined to have been in error.
At that hearing it was reported that the Massachusetts Civil Defense Agency had not yet received a draf t of the Massachusetts Area Plan for the Seabrook Station f rom Yankee Atomic Electric Company and that a draf t was not expected for at least a month.
That report was based on conversations with an employee at the State Civil Defense Headquarters in Framingham, Massachusetts, who is involved in the planning process for the Seabrook vicinity.
It has subsequently been determined, however, that the Area 1_ Headquarters of the Massachusetts Civil Defense Agency in Tewksbury, Massachusetts, did receive a draft Area Plan on August 5, 1983.
Work is stil:.
in progress on the plan and the target date for submission to the Board and parties to the proceeding remains October 15, 1983, as indicated at the August 17 hearing.
