JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 1 NARRATIVE
SUMMARY
OF OPERATIONS MAY, 1983 During the month of May there were no unit shutdowns. The unit was reduced to thirty-five percent power on May 25, 1983 during resolution of RCS unidentified leakage in excess of 1 gpm.
In addition to items previously_ reported, the following safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of April.
1.
Performed preventive maintenance (MP-28.114) on reactor trip breakers.
2.
Reactor trip breaker undervoltage devices were replaced.
3.
Critical dimensions were measured on both new and old under-i voltage devices.
The following safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of

Performed safety-related maintenance on diesel generators.
Replacement of HFA' relays.

Repaired body-bonnet steam leak on TDAFW pump steam admission valve Q1N12HV3234B.
4.
Repaired-leak on liquid waste disposal system valve Q1G21V306.
5.
Repacked #5, #7 and #9 river water pumps.
6.
Adjusted packing on seal injection flow throttle valve Q1E21V116C.
