Enclosed are revised pages to the " Security Plan for the Protection of Reactor Facilities Under License R-33".
These revisions reflect the change in the method of communication with the Alameda County Sheriff's Depcrtment (ACSD). The ACSD has installed a new radio. network and, contrary to past practice, will not allow outside organizations access to it.
Accordingly, contact with the ACSD will be via cellular telephone.
The use of the cellular telephone in place of the two-way radio does not reflect a reduction in the effectiveness of the security plan. This change was discussed with Mr. L. R. Norderhaug of the Region IV Walnut Creek Field Office before it was implemented.
Revised pages are enclosed as Attachment A to this letter. Changes are marked with a vertical line in the right-hand margin.
