Dear Mr. Calvo:

Enclosed is a copy of the final exercise report for the March 17, 1992, exercise of the of fsite radiological emergency response plans for the State of Wisconsin and affected local jurisdictions site-specific to the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant.

The State of l

Wisconsin and,Manitowac and Kewaunee Counties fully participated in the exercise.

The enclosed report was prepared by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region V staff and copies will l

be forwarded to the State of Wisconsin.

There were no Deficiencies identified during the March 17, 1992, exercise.

There were, however, six Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) identified, which have all been corrected.

Based on the results of the March 17, 1992, exercise, the offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness for the State of Wisconsin and the affected local jurisdictions site-i specific to the Point Deach Nuclear Power Plant can 'ae implemented I

and are adequate to provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken offsite to protect the health and safety of the public in the event of a radiological emergency at the site.

Therefore, the Title 44 CFR, Part 350, approval of the Wisconsin offsite radiological emergency response plans and preparedness site-specific to Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant granted on June 14, 1985, will remain in effect.
