In Reference 1, GEH submitted Revision 7 of the ABWR Design Control Document DCD Revision 7, Tier 1 and Tier 2 for use in GEH's ABWR Design Certification Renewal Application.

In Reference 2, NRC identified proposed COL information in Chapter 5 that was not reflected in in the Revision 7 documents submitted in Reference 1.

The purpose of this letter is to transmit to the NRC ABWR DCD Revision 7, Chapter 5 to address the COL Information item. Also included is a revised Change List that includes the changes to Chapter 5. The Change List pages that are unaffected by this change retain the header associated with the original GEH submittal letter, M190211 and the revised Chapter 5 change list header reflects this letter, M200041, for the purpose of tracking and transparency. contains Chapter 5 document with "Security-Related Information" protected from public disclosure under the provisions in 10 CFR 2.390. While there is no security-related information marked in the Chapter it is being sent consistent with the rules for designation of

"(({Security-Related Information - Withhold Under 10 CFR 2.390}" because Chapter 5 was originally part of a larger package and was designated as Security Related. GEH requests that the NRC withhold from public disclosure this information in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 2.390.
