Regarding:
Exemption from GDC-57, TAC 75772 (June 26, 1991).
The referenced letter forwarded an exemption from the requirements of General Design Criterion (GDC) 57, and requested an implementation schedule for related action items.
Each action item is described below with a scheduled or actual completion date.
Item 6 i nc11.J e valvec RW-615, -621, ~627, and -633 in the Technical Specifications as containment isolation valves.
Presently we are considering removal of Table 3.6-1,
" Containment Penetrations,"
from Technical Specifications in accordance with Generic Letter 91-08, " Removal of Component Lists from Technical Specifications."
Therefore, a
Technical Specification change will be submitted by February 28, 1992 to either 1.
Include the valves referenced above in Technical Specification Table 3.6-1, or 2.
Include the valves referenced above in Technical Specification Table 3.6-1, and move the Table from Technical Specifications to plant procedures in accordance with Generic Letter 91-08.
ItemJ}
Test valves RW-615, -621, -627, and -633 in accordance with the requirements of ASME Section XI.
The valves referenced above have been included in Revision 7 of the Inservice Testing Program (effective June 7, 1991) and will be tested in accordance with ASME Section XI.

The affected radiation monitor alarm renponse procedures were revined by an operating manual change notice which was offective July 13, 1990.
