Supplemental Information Regarding Masonry Wall Design at Vermont Yankee (I&E Bulletin 80-11)
Dear Sir:
Per a telecon discussion with Mr. V. Rooney of your staff on August 2, 1983, we were requested to supply you with additional information regarding masonry wall design at our facility. The purpose of this letter is to inform you that on qualifying our masonry walls, joint reinforcement (i.e, Dur-0-Wall) was not used as a structural element to resist forces resulting from applied loads.
We trust that this inforration satisfies your concerns; however, should you have any other questions regarding this matter, please contact us.
