Missing Radiographs cf Two (2) B'W Valves.
Dear Mr. Jagger:
This is to notify you that the missing Radiographs for Two (2) Borg-Warner Valves, 12 inch Globe Valve, S/N 57289 and 12 inch Globe Valve, S/N 57290 have been located in the film vault at PNPP. These radiographs were stored in a misidentified package which was located af ter receipt of a letter from Borg-Warner telling us what packages of radiographs had been sent simultane-ously.
The radiographs are good and the valves appear to be acceptable. The radio-graphs were done with the ends in the as cast condition and do not exhibit the penetrameter anomoly. However, the weld ends do exhibit the wrong size penetrameter.
These valves will be accepted based on the sampling that was re-radiographed on site by Magnaflux Quality Services. These two (2) valves were included in the number of valves we had problems with (217) so they do not add to the number re-radiographed (44).
