50 328 As requested in your May 5,1983 telephone call to me regarding the proposed physical security plan (PSP) for our Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, the review of the proposed PSP included the Sequoyah Plant Superintendent and Assistant Plant Superintendent, the Division of Nuclear Power, the Division of Engineering Design, the Nuclear Safety Review Staff, the Public Safety Services Branch, and was approved by the Manager of Power.
The proposed PSP will be reviewed by the Plant Operations Review Committee according to technical specification 6.5.1.6.1, along with the associated 50.54(p) changes submitted to the NRC since June 23, 1982 before implementation at Sequoyah. The changes in the proposed PSP have not reduced the level of nuclear safety at Sequoyah.
