TPT Management Review of the William H. Zimmer Nuclear Power Plant Station Unit 1 Gentlemen:
This is to inform you that in addition to the relations with other par-ticipants in the Zimmer Project that TPT has already submitted to you, we have just been asked to enter into contract negotiations with American Electric Power for a Control Room Design Review on the Donald C. Cook Plant. This contract will be worth approximately $200,000.
The Control Room Design Review is not related to the Zimmer Plant or to Cincinnati Gas & Electric in any way. To our knowledge, Cincinnati Gas &
Electric has no interest in the Donald C. Cook Plant, and the magnitude of the contract is such that the accumulation of all our engineering services work with the Zimmer participants is less than three percent of GA l
l Technologies' annual revenue.

We would emphasize that this contract will not compromise our independence from the Zimmer Project nor will it influence in any way our judgement in l
the Management Review. Thus, I believe that TPT meets all the NRC cri-teria for independence and plans to proceed with contract necotiations on the Control Room Design Review.
