SALEM SECURITY PLAN SALEM GENERATING STATION UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 DOCKET NOS. 50-272 AND 50-311 In accordance with the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, the regulations thereunder, and provisions of 10CFR50.54 (p), hereby transmitted is one (1) copy of Revision 8, of the Salem Generating Station Security Plan.
This revision is deemed not to decrease the safeguards effectiveness of the plan and, therefore, does not represent a change to Operating Licenses DPR-70 and DPR-75 for Salem Generating Station Unit Nos. 1 and 2.
This revision reflects changes in physical operations and management that have resulted from Public Service Electric and Gas Company's effort to improve security at the Salem Generating Station.
The Security Evaluation, Actachment 1, explains the rationale upon which the changes are based.
The information contained in the attachment and the Security Plan Change contains SAFEGUARDS INFORMATION which must be protected s
from unauthorized disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR73.21.
