l VOGTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS SPECIAL REPORT-UNIT I NUMBER OF STEAM GENERATOR TUBES PLUGGED DURING 1R5 i
in accordance with the requirements of Vogtle Electric Generating Plant Technical Specifications (TS) sections 4.4.5.5.a and 6.8.2, Georgia Power Company (GPC) submits the enclosed special report containing the number of steam generator tubes plugged during the Unit 1 fiflh refueling outage (1RS).
As a result of the inservice inspection completed on October 1,1994, a total of twelve (12) tubes were plugged in steam generators 2,3, and 4. Only five (5) of these tubes met i
or exceeded the TS limit for wall thinning (40 percent). The remainder were plugged as a precautionary measure. Complete inspection results will be submitted within 12 months per the requirement of TS 4.4.5.5.b.
