Dear Mr. Denton:

Enclosed herewith are forty (40) copies of Revision 3 to the Shoreham " Pump and Valve Inservice Testing Program Plan" for NRC review.

This submittal which replaces Revision 0, reflects the partial incorporation of the commitments made during the November 30 and December 1, 1982 working meeting at Shoreham between the NRC/EG&G and LILCO. (Reference 1)

Revision 3 is expected to be in effect at fuel load.

The applicable procedures are being modified to assure consistency with the program.

A subsequent revision, currently scheduled for

-completion in late September will address the remainder of the out=tanding issues developed during the subject meeting.

If any additional information is required please contact the undersigned.
