" DEFECTIVE G. E. TYPE AKR BREAKERS, C-CLIPS FALL OFF"

Reference:

LP&L letter no. W3183-0109, dated November 19,-1982

Dear Mr.-Prados:

The above referenced letter indicated submittal of a Final Report to the USNRC no later than April 11, 1983.

At the present time, materials needed to-complete corrective action will not be shipped until late April, 1983. Additionally, this SCD can only be worked when a time slot is available during testing operations. It is our recommendation that LP&L give this SCD the utmost priority in expediting the completion of the corrective action prior to fuel load. As the attached

. schedule indicates, Construction and Scheduling anticipates the completion 'of corrective' action on June 15, 1983.

Unless -the present schedule is prioritized, Ebasco Quality Assurance needs an extension until June 30, 1983 for submittal of a Final Report by LP&L to the USNRC.

Very truly yours,
