Dear Mr. Keppler:

In response to the NRC letter dated 24 March 83 (Ref. 2) providing guidance on reporting radiation doses, the 1982 Annual Environmental Radiological and Meteorological Monitoring Report did not explicitly address the 40 CFR requirements. These standards were achieved at Quad Cities Station since compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix I objectives was met. All future reports will address 40 CFR 190 explicitly.

Thirty-nine copies of this letter are being sent directly to Mr. Edson G.

Case, Deputy Director of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.
