Dear Mr. Keppler:
Enclosed please find the interlaboratory comparisons for 1982 between the EPA and Hazleton Environmental Sciences. These comparisons were inadvertently omitted from the Annual Environmental Radiological and Meteorological Monitoring Report for LaSalle (Ref. 1). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
In reference to the NRC letter of 24 March providing guidance on reporting radiation doses (Ref. 2) the annual report did not explicitly address the 40 CFR 190 requirements.
These standards were achieved at La Salle County Station since compliance with 10 CFR 50 Appendix I objectives was met. All future reports will address 40 CFR 190 explicitly. One copy of this report is provided for your use and 39 copies are being submitted directly to Mr. Edson G. Case, Deputy Director of the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.
