The pil of the re-tention pond discharge (sample point 501) was 9.2 (s.u.) on April 6, 1983.
The Company has commenced an investigation into this incident

which will include a review of the sampling and analysis techniques to de-t H'
termine the validity of the results, an inspection of any treatment equip-ment, and a review of operators' logs to determine any unusual activities which might have caused the incident. When the investigation is completed, a letter will be sent to the Department outlining the results of the in-
'j vestigation and corrective action, if any, which has been or will be taken.
