CG&E Letter QA-1702 Dated May 6, 1982, NRC Letter Dated December 15, 1982 We are submitting for your consideration, an alternate approach for the documentation of final plant configuration. The approach is as follows:
1.
During the performance of walkdowns associated with design freeze, system turnover or final plant configuration, differences between the field installation and the design drawings shall be indicated by red-lining the design drawings, or other site originated drawings, if design drawings do not exist.
II.
These red-lined drawings will then be submitted to S&L for evaluation prior to incorporation into "as-built" project drawings.
III.
Should this evaluation determine that a condition represented by a red-lined drawing is a deficiency or otherwise unacceptable and requires subsequent field modification, such change will be documented on a non-conformance report.
We trust the above will be acceptable. Your early response to this proposal would be appreciated.
