Dear Mr. Spessard:

General Electric Service Advice #175/9.11 Union Electric provided Mr. J. Neisler, Callaway NRC Resident Inspector, and Mr.
H. Wescott, NRC Region III, verbal notification of a deficiency reportable under 10CFR50.55(e)/
Part 21 on Monday March 14, 1983.
The details of this deficiency are as described in GE Distribution Equipment Division Service Advice Tab 175, No. 9.11.
This deficiency had been previously reported to Mr.Neisler and Mr. Wescott as a potential significant deficiency on February 11, 1983.

This plan will employ the recommendations of the reference GE advisory, as appropriate.
A final report on this deficiency is expected to be submitted by April 29, 1983.
Very truly yours, i
/
Donald F.
