Dear Mr. Stolz:

In our letter dated February 17, 1983 (Serial No. 912), Toledo Edison provided our plan to submit supplemental ECCS calculations using the cladding models of NUREG-0630 by April 8, 1983. As part of a group of utilities sponsoring the analysis, we find the results will not be provided to us as expected to meet the April 8, 1983 submittal date.

Unexpected computer run difficulties make it necessary for us to extend our expected submittal date to May 9, 1983 for the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Unit No. 1.
