Dear Mr. Lewis:
l Pursuant to the requests made by the Board orally at the March 25, 1983 hearing, I enclose the following documents:

Documents relating to training activit 6 conducted in connection with off-site response cry _
aations which might be called upon to respond on mice to an I
emergency at Indian Point 3.
Each group of documents relates to a particular category of response organi-zation and is preceded by an explanatory cover sheet;*
With regard to medical support, the documents relate to train-ing of personnel of Peekskill Community Hospital, local volun-teer ambulance personnel, and EMT's.
In addition, preliminary meetings and tours have been conducted in connection with the provision of back-up medical support by the Westchester County Medical Center.
The Power Authority anticipates training of personnel from this hospital in the fall and a drill involving these personnel shortly thereafter.

Two (2) additional copies of the Parsons Brincker-hoff Quade & Douglas November 1981 Draft Methodol-ogy to Calculate Evacuation Travel Time Estimates document, so that each Board member may have a copy.

In addition, the Board requested a reference to the sample emergency broadcast system messages contained in the off-site emergency plans.
Such samples are contained on pages PI/E-16-23 of the Putnam County Radiological Emergency Response Plan, Part II (Exhibit NYS-ll), pages PI/E-16-25 of the Westchester County Radiological Emergency Response Plan, Part II (Exhibit NYS-13), pages PI/E-16-25 of the orange County Radiological Emer-gency Response Plan, Part II (Exhibit NYS-12), and pages 0-18-25 of the New York State Radiological Emergency Preparedness Plan, Compensating Measures for Rockland County (Exhibit NYS-6).
