This letter provides written documentation'to follow-up Entergy Operations, Inc. 's verbal request on September 9,1994, regarding a request for enforcement discretion from Waterford 3 Technical Specification (TS)
Surveillance Requirements 4.8.1.1.2.d Emergency Diesel Generator integrated tests. This letter also supplements our written request W3F1-94-0159 dated September 9, 1994.
In our initial request we requested enforcement discretion to allow Waterford 3 to extend the Allowed Outage Time for TS Action Statement 3.8.1.1.b.
The purpose of this submittal is to change our initial request and request enforcement discretion on the surveillance requirements of TS 4.8.1.1.2.d to exclude AB bus. components for 7 days to allow approval of our proposed emergency technical specification change.
Upon approval of this amended request, Waterford 3 Emergency Diesel Generator B will be declared operable. The basis for this request as described in our initial submittal is not affected by this supplemental information. This amended request has been revieweo by the Plant Operations Review Committee and has been approved by the General' Manager -
Plant Operations.
