E. G. Bauer, PECO.) whfch ferwarded the Safety-Evaluation for Environmental Qualification (EQ) of Safety Related Electrical Equipment, you requested that we provide, within 90 days, our l
plans for qualification or replacement of certain equipment at Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Units 2 and 3.
Your March 22, 1983 letter (J. F. Stolz to E. G. Bauer, PECo.) discusses the subject of the 90 day response.
The requirement for this response has been superceded by the recently published 10CFR 50.49 which requires similar information, in l
paragraph g, no later than May 20, 1983.-
Our letter of February 4, 1983.(S. L. Daltroff, PECo. to-J.F. Stolz, NRC) requested that we have a meeting with the NRC's Equipment Qualification Branch to review the items contained in the Technical Evaluation Report (TER) which supported the Safety Evaluation.
It is our belief that a meeting would result in the resolution of a significant portion of the outstanding questions contained in the TER.
We look forward to having such a meeting and anticipate the resolution of the outstanding items.
