- 1) J W Cook letter to J G Keppler, Same Subject, Serial 20685, dated January 30, 1983 This letter, as was Reference 1, is an interim report on the potential 50.55(e) condition concerning loose locking clips (Tinnerman Speed Nuts). We have received from the vendor a procedure for inspecting and replacing Tinnerman speed nuts. This procedure has been approved, and the inspection and required replacement will begin in the near future.
B&W is evaluating the nonconforming Tinnerman nuts found in the Midland equipment for reportability.
Another report, either interim or final, will be sent on or before June 30, 1983.
