Dear Judge Hoyt:
The purpose of this letter is to formally request that you hold the April 7-8 pre-hearing conference on the licensing of the Seabrook nuclear power plant at a location close to the Town of Seabrook. While I recognize that there will be no public participation in this meeting, I feel it is important that the local citizenry has an opportunity to be present at all public proceedings related to the licensing of the Seabrook nuclear power plant.
Although holding the pre-hearing con-ference in Boston may be more convenient for the lawyers and government officials involved, I do not believe it would well serve the interests of the people of New Hampshire.
It is my sincere hope that you will see fit to honor this request.
