Ladies and Gentlemen:
In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (p) and 10 CFR 50.4, Georgia Power Company hereby submits three copies of Amendment 26 to the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP)
Unit 1 and Unit 2 Physical Security and Contingency Plan (the Security Plan). By copy of this letter two copies of Amendment 26 are being provided to the NRC Region II oflice.

l This amendment clarifies a weapon charactenatic, a vehicle gate lock mechanism, and simplifies internal references to the VEGP Physical Security and Contingency Plan. provides the description and justification for the changes, enclosure 2 gives insertion instructions, enclosure 3 contains Amendment 26 pages, and enclosure 4 is the j
new effective page list for the VEGP Physical Security and Contingency Plan. The l
information contained in enclosure 3 is safeguards information and should be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
