) ASLBP No. 93-671-01-OLA-3 GEORGIA POWER COMPANY'S RESPONSE TO INTERVENOR'S DOCUMENT REOUEST Georgia Power Company ("GPC") hereby responds to Intervenor's Document Request to Georgia Power Company, dated August 17,1994 (the " Document Request"). GPC objects to Intervenor's Document Request in its entirety on the ground that it is untimely.

The parties originally agreed, under the supervision and approval of the Board, to complete discovery on August 1,1994 such that responses to discovery requests would be due on or before the August I deadline. Tr. 402-06. The discovery period was subsequently extended to August 8,1994 by the Board's June 30,1994 Memorandum and Order (Request for Extension of Time). Intervenor's Document Request exceeds the time set for closing discovery without regard to the 30-day response period and, therefore, GPC will not further respond to it.
