Dear Mr. Collins:
River Bend Station Unit 1 Docket No. 50-458 Interim Report /DR-99 On February 22, 1983, Gulf States Utilities Company (GSU) notified Region IV of a condition potentially reportable under 10CFR50.55(e) concerning a Category I pipe spool supplied to River Bend Station by B. F. Shaw. The pipe spool flange thickness is less than specified. GSU has not completed its investigation. An interim or final status report will be submitted by May 4, 1983.
