Fitness for Duty Program Six Month Performance Data FITNESS FOR DUTY PROGRAM
SUMMARY
During this reporting period, approximately 26.3 percent of the population have been randomly tested. The rate of positives from random testing is 0.48 percent.
POSITIVE RESULTS:
Of the substances tested for, marijuana is the drug of preference accounting for 64 percent of the positive results and cocaine is second yielding 28 percent of positives.
This is consistent with what has been detected at Waterford 3 in previous submittals.
Entergy uses a more stringent cut-off for marijuana. The lower cut-off accounted for 81 percent of the marijuana positives. The percentage of pre-access positives received from contractors was due to outage processing.
MANAGEMENT ACTIONS:
P Individuals tested positive during pre-access and for-cause testing'had their access removed / denied. Management was notified and their files were annotated of the positive results and management's actions.
Two licensee employees tested positive during random testing. Management was notified and suspended the individuals' access for fourteen days pending recommendation by the Employee Assistance Program evaluation and re-entry testing.
One employee was granted access to the protected area upon return to work. The other employee will be reinstated after a twelve month period.
Both employees are enrolled in follow-up testing.
One employee was enrolled in follow-up testing during the last reporting period. This employee is no longer with the company.
Presently, there are two employees participating in follow-up programs. Twenty follow-up tests have been administered collectively to these employees.

Fitness for Duty Program Six Month Performance Data EVENTS REPORTED TO THE NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION (NRC):
On June 14, 1994, a discrepancy was noticed in the reporting of a test result for a blind performance specimen sent to the confirmatory laboratory. An investigation was performed and documented in Waterford 3 letter W3F1-94-0128 to the NRC dated August 9, 1994.

There have been no noted program weaknesses during this reporting period.
