REPLY TO APPENDIX A OF NRC INSPECTION REPORT NO. 50-317/82-24; 50-318/82-20 Keys to high radiation areas have been and continue to be maintained under the administrative control of the Shift Supervisor as required by Technical Specification 6.12. Details of these administrative controls have been promulgated on an interim basis by the General Supervisor-Operations Standing Instruction 83-02. These controls are similarly detailed in draf t Calvert Cliffs Instruction-311, "Calvert Cliffs Key and Lock Control," which is currently undergoing internal staff review and finalization.
Implementation of this instruction is anticipated by April 1,1983.
