a ATI'ACHMENT A EVALUATION OF FFD DATA 1/1/94-6/30/94 FOR CAUSE TEST RESULTS There was one (1) for cause test administered during this evaluation period with negative results.
POSITIVE TEST RESUL7_E The were no positive test results during this period.
FOLLOW-UP TESTING PROGRAM One (1) individual is currently in the Vermont Yankee follow-up testing program as a result of management referral based on behavior observation.
TEST RESULTS ASSESSMENT The test results for this period compared to previous periods indicate that Vermont Yankee continues to maintain an effective FFD program which ensures that the plant site remains a work environment free from the effects of drugs or alcohol.
The program continues to serve as an effective deterrent to the use or introduction of drugs or alcohol in the work place.
The results of this period are as expected during a period which does not include a refueling outage.
The effectiveness of continual behavior observation training has been demonstrated by management identification a potential problem which prompted early intervention to prevent serious consequences.
The rate for collection has been increased to ensure that greater than 50% of the sample population is tested annually.
