DOCKETS 50-266 AND 50-301 QUALITY ASSURANCE PROGRAM DESCRIPTION POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 As required by 10 CFR 50.54 (a) (2), the latest revision of Section 1. 8 of the Final Safety Analysis Report (FSAR) for Point Beach Nuclear Plant, which describes the present Quality Assurance Program being implemented at Point Beach, was submitted to you on June 10, 1983.
Subsequent to that submittal we have identified a clerical error in Table 1.8-1, item 13.
The wording under this item should read:
" Commitment to follow the position of Regulatory Guide 1.146, which endorses ANSI N45.2.23, for audits of in-plant activities which are performed on Point Beach Nuclear Plant organizations."
This wording is in lieu of "... which are performed by Point Beach Nuclear Plant organizations."
The former wording correctly reflects our commitment which was made in response to NRC Generic Letter 81-01.
The above correction has been made to Section 1.8 and will be reflected in our annual submittal of FSAR revisions as required by 10 CFR 50.71(e).
