Three Mile Island Unit 1 Restart
Dear Chairman Palladino:
The questionable procedure used to repair the steam generator tubes at Three Mile Island Unit 1, the effective-ness of the repairs, and the~ seriousness of the consequences warrant independent in-depth studies and that you hold public hearings on this matter.
There is reason for concern by those of us who have been following the developments at the island for over four ye ars.
The people of this area have b(en saying the truth about Met-Ed/GPU and Three Mile Island for over four years, but the AS&LB and some NRC staff members have disregarded

(and continue to disregard) these facts.
Later, after independent investigations and much public pressure, they act like all this information is-new to them.
What is 6oing on?
Are the AS&LB members that incompe-tent?
If they are, remove them and get to the core of this mess!
