NRC Reauest for Information Conceming NNECO's Response to NRfE.u No. 90-01. Supolement 1-Loss of Fill-Oil in Rosemount Trar.smitters The NRC requested that we expand our response to the subject Bulletin Response 1.f to provide what type of action or reviews will be dono for those Rosemount transmitters that are excluded from the enhanced Rosemount surveillance program. The purpose of this memo is to provide the additional information requested by the NRC.
For those Rosemount transmitters excluded from the enhanced surveillance program, a normal calibration is performed every 24 months. A failure analysis is performed for those transmitters that fail their calibration to determine if any trends are established. Any Rosemount transmitters failing due to loss of oil-fill would be noted.
The above information should satisfy the NRC concerns. I understand this memo is b transmitted to the NRC for their information. Ifyou or the NRC require any additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
