By letter dated May 24, 1983, Alabama Power Company committed to modify the Farley iluclear Plant procedures associated with post trip review.
Enclosed for your review is the modified portion of the Conduct of Operations - Operations Group procedure which totally addresses post trip review. This procedure, which was approved by temporary changes on June 16 and June 28, 1983, documents present practices and addresses the following items:
1.
information available for post trip review 2.
criteria against which post trip results are reviewed 3.
identification of review persons / groups and timeliness of review 4
identification of significant aspects of trip conditions prior to return to criticality.
These temporary procedure changes are currently being incorporated into a permanent procedure revision.
It is expected that the permanent revision will be approved within 60 days.
