Confirmation of Requested Actions,Bulletin 93-02 Supplement 1 This letter is written in response to the reporting requirements described in NRC Bulletin 93-02, Onpplement 1. The Bulletin described concerns related to the potential loss of Emergency Core Cooling Systems due to suction strainer clogging and requested licensees to implement certain interim actions pending final resolution of this issue. Reference (c) described Vermont Yankee's planned actions and a schedule for their completion.
The Bulletin also requested a confirmatory response when the requested interim actions were completed. This letter confirms the completion of Vermont Yankee's
. planned actions identified in Reference (c).
These actions included classroom training, simulator training, operating procedure revisions and development of a new event based off-normal operating procedure ent!tled "ECCS ' Suction Strainer Plugging."
1 Although not mentioned in the text, the schedule attached to Reference (c) listed a revision to the Emergency Operating Procedure (EOP) Study Guide as one of our planned actions. The Study Guide was listed in the event that a substantive
