NRC LETTER DOCKET NO. 50-272, DATED FEBRUARY 24, 1983 RE:

REGULATORY EFFECTIVENESS REVIEW The comments requested relative to the areas of concern identified in Section 2.2 of the attachment to subject letter are provided in Enclosure 1.

As stated in the enclosure, PSE&G had previously identified most items of concern and had initiated corrective actions.

All concerns have been addresse d in a

positive and effective manner consistent with the ongoing policy to optimize the performance of our nuclear security program.
