50-260 50-296 By letter from D. S. Kammer to you dated May 20, 1983 we submitted additional information regarding environmental qualification of equipment for the Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant. In that letter we stated that our final position on the proprietary nature of some Technical Evaluation Report (TER) items would be submitted by July 29, 1983 The equipment in question is General Electric (GE) series 100 electrical penetrations (TER item No. 87, units 1, 2, and 3) and GE Model NSO4 penetration assembly (TER item No. 160, unit 1 only).

We have obtained a release permitting reclassification of these items as nonproprietary. The information for the subject equipment may now be disclosed as appropriate.
