57300, JOB E-5590, FILE NO. 956C, M-56 This letter constitutes an interim report concerning the subject condition initially reported to the Commission on August 4,1982. as a potentially reportable deficiency under 10CFR50.55 (e). - By letter, LOZ-83-0058, dated June 15, 1983, The Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company requested an extention of the due date of this interim report to June 22, 1983.
,As stated in our previous interim report, LOZ-83-0003, dated March 23, 1983,'all deviations to gamma plug design specification requirements for Phase II piping have been identified on Nonconformance Reports (NR's).
Engineering evaluation and dispositioning of these NR's is projected to be complete by September 30, 1983.
A follow-up report providing an analysis of the safety implications for the Phase II gamma plug deviations, a summary of i
the corrective actions taken, and a projected completion.date will be submitted by October 15, 1983.
Evaluation of gamma plugs in Phase I embedded piping will also be addressed in our October 15,.1983 submittal.
