I June 16, 1983 James G Keppler, Administrator Region III US Nuclear Regulatory Commission 799 Roosevelt Road Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 DOCKET 50-255 - LICENSE DPR PALISADES PLANT - 1982 ENVIRONMENTAL OPERATING REPORT Consumer Power Company letter dated April 27, 1983 and entitled 1982 Environ-mental Operating Report stated in Paragraph 2.2 that no herbicides were used at Palisades during 1982. This statement was discovered to be in error and should read as follows:
2.2 A small quantity of herbicides were sprayed on Palisades site property dt. ring 1982. The spraying was confined to the area of the new parking lot and the weather station area. The herbi-cides used were two gallons to Tordon 101, and one gallon of Garlon 4.
In addition to this, a small quantity of Tordon RTU was applied directly to a few tree stumps to prevent new growth.
