Dear Mr. Denton:

As requested by generic letter 83-01, LILCO has developed a tentative schedule of requests for NRC site visits to conduct operator licensing and instructor certification examinations to support the operation of the Shoreham Nuclear Power Station.

The schedule, as presented below, lists all currently identified requests through the end of 1985.

November 1983 SRO certification for five (5) l contract instructors.

To be scheduled in conjunction with one of our regualification exams.

February 1984 RO to SRO upgrade exam for approximately 7 candidates.

June 1984 First hot license class.

Nine RO exams and five SRO exams.

November 1984 Second hot license class of approximately 12 candidates.

February 1985 RO to SRO upgrade exam for approximately 7 candidates.

November 1985 Third hot license class of approximately 10 people.
