As discussed in the previous report, the as-designed and as-built containment was found to be satisfactory.
Bechtel is continuing the finalization of design calculations and the verification of reinforcement adjacent to the penetration areas. Revisions to the FSAR, including Subsecti,ons 3.8.1.4.7 and 3.8.1.5.1.5, have been initiated.
Consumers Power will send either the final report or another interim report addressing the above issue by October 31, 1983.
