Dear Mr. Corwin:
This will confirm that the parties hereto intend to enter into a contract under which Chappaqua Trans..Inc. ("Chappaqua") will make available to Consolidated Edison Co:.pany of N ew York, Inc. and Power liuthority of the State of tiew York up to 1+9 buses and 17 vans in connection with an evacuation resulting from a radiological emergency at the Indian Point tiuclear Power Plants. This contract would be in effect until the completion of the transportation study which will be conducted by the Transportation Safety Plaru.ing Group of Albany. The centract will provide, among other things 4 for an appropriate indemnity of Chappaqua or any other participitiac entity either as owner or operator of the subject veh.icles, by Con Edicon and Power Authority against any and all liability for personal in-jury and property damage occasioned by the neglieence of Chappaqua, its empicyoes or the employees of Con 3dison or the Powe< Authority and reimbursement for any expenses or loss of revenue.
