This letter constitutes our final report concerning the subject condition initially reported to the Commission on October 26, 1982 as a potentially reportable deficiency under 10CFR50.55(e) and followed up by our interim report of November 19. 1982 (CG&E letter, QA-2120).
CG&E auditors have verified and accepted the corrective actions taken by Sargent & Lundy for the audit findings and concerns relative to the application of the Simplified Dynamic Analysis (SDA) procedure identified in CG&E QA Audit Report 82/50. The auditors also veri-fled and accepted the results of the Sargent & Lundy rereview of 10%
of the subsystem calculations performed using the SDA procedure. While this sample review identified deviations in the application of the SDA procedure, final piping and support designs were found to be within code allowable stresses and no findings or deficiencies significant to safety were identified. Consequently, we have concluded that the subject condition is not reportable under the criteria of 10CFR50.55(e).
