DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Submittal of the 3rd 10-Year Inservice Inspection Examinaticn Plan. Revision O. Procram to the Reauirements of ASME Section XI Attached is che ASME Code Section XI Inservice Inspection Examination Plan, Revision 0, for the third ten-year interval for Unit 1 of the Prairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant. Requests for relief, included in this program, are being submitted for NRC review and approval in accordance with 10 CFR Part 50, Section 50.55a.
The program has generally been developed to ASME Section XI, 1989 Edition.
For details, see the Introduction (Pages 2-1 and 2-2) to the Plan. The 3rd Interval officially began December 16, 1993 but the refueling outage which was just completed earlier this month was used to perform the 10-year inspection for the 2nd ten-year interval. There were some 3rd Interval inspections performed but none of those inspections were related to any of the requests for relief which are being submitted with this Plan.
We will provide you with revisions to the Inservice Inspection Examination Plan for information when significant revisions have been incorporated (e.g.,
the addition of new components because of a significant modification to the plant).
Future Requests for Relief will be submitted as the need occurs.
