NRC MONTHLY OPERATING REPORT OPERATIONS

SUMMARY

AUGUST, 1982 UNIT 2 The Unit began the month in shutdown from a rod drop (DNBR) trip that occurred in July. Power operation was established on August 2 and on August 5 power was leveled off at 84% for continued power coastdown to refueling. On August 20, a Technical Specification Action Statement concerning.RCS leakage was entered. The Unit was shutdown on the same date and remained shutdown for refueling and maintenance during the rest of August.
