ILOO48151 NONCOMPLIANCE REPORT DISCHARGE NUMBER AND DESCRIPTION:
001c Low Volume Waste Radwaste Discharge Tanks PARAMETER AND PERMIT LIMIT: Total suspended solids - 15 mg/l Total Iron - 1.0 mg/l NONCOMPLIANCE, DATE, AND DURATION:

CAUSE OF NONCOMPLIANCE:
The composite sampler cannot operate automatically. The operator did not inform the Chemistry Technician that the discharge was taking place until after it had been initiated.
In another case the operator failed to inform the Technician that the discharge had been secured.
CORRECTIVE ACTION:
The Operating Department has been informed to notify the Rad / Chem Technician prior to initiating the discharge. and prior to securing the discharge.
In addition a work request has been initiated to automatically start and stop the composite sampler.
