Dear Ms. Black:

In its meeting of August 6, 1981 with the ACRS, Louisiana Power & Light Company stated its intention ot provide Dr. Hanauer with a monthly report of LP&L's activities relating to recruiting and upgrading of total corporate capability. This is the eighth such report.

The staffing status of the Nuclear Organization as of April 15, 1982 is provided in Attachment 1. to this report provides a status of the staffing commitments we made in our April 20, 1981 letter to the NRC.
